A bandwagon occurs when one player votes another during the day phase as their lynch target and the whole town follows without having substantial evidence.
Riding on a bandwagon can be a form of scumtelling, and may also be considered a form of towntelling for the lynched. The theory is that:
1A) Bandwagon Victim = Town, mafia follows to ensure Town is lynched 1B) Bandwagon Victim = Mafia, mafia partners try to stop the bandwagon from occurring in order to save their partner.
However, the inverse argument could also be used.
2A) Bandwagon Victim = Town, mafia does not follow so that they appear as town-sided. 3A) Bandwagon Victim = Mafia, mafia partners follow to appear as town-sided. This is also known as Bussing.
