No idea for a description so I will just copy a better one:So, I love Gone Girl (the book and the movie), and I need to explain why. So many men in our society today want the "cool girl." And this is the entire premise of Gillian Flynn's concept with Gone Girl. She pretends to be someone she is not, and the guy falls in love with her because she is pretending to be this "cool girl". She tries to keep up this facade to please her man, and she actually does a good job at it. But he stops putting up his facade. He becomes lazy and does not do his part, and then he is unable to appreciate her and he cheats on her with a younger, "cool girl."
I am not "cool girl." I like Disney movies, I like Disney music, I like Christmas music, I like Taylor Swift, I like pop music, and then I like some pretty cool fucking music, but that's beside the point, I like to read.I like to follow the rules. I like to stay home instead of go out all the time. I like gin and tonics, I don't like whiskey. I don't like taking shots. I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I don't like beer very much. I like to watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas and I like to watch Hocus Pocus(. And I will go "Gone Girl" if you try to make me "Cool girl."
