Valid point - I wasn't really considering that, but I have learned a lot from watching good players at work. I think I have the probabilities of the game rather well sorted out, but the psychology & trickery I'm still working on. Anyhow, you're one of the more impressive players I played with on that other setup, and I'll take your advice into account in the future - and thinking back on it, sorry I made you watch from the GY two games in a row; that's gotta be boring. Was just doing what seemed most probabilistically likely of giving me a positive outcome, but I'll reconsider that strategy.

In that setup, all three killing roles have a higher probability of hitting an enemy than a friend. So it behooves any of the roles to take out the best player they can, since you're likely taking out a good player on an opposing team. Reverse logic works for mason and cult - you want to recruit the best player you can. You were the best player at the table, and I had a gun... stands to reason. Don't see it as a reason to neg, but there's the logic behind it.
