they had to play it safe and basically do a soft reboot to remind old fans and introduce news fans to what star wars was, and now is. don't know if you guys realize this, but it's been awhile. it's the only way they could've done it, disney and lucasfilm realized it, and pulled it of great. expect the next episodes to stray away from playing it safe and do things differently
The girl was good cuz she was hot but not too hot to the point you can't even believe she would be a real character. like imagine scarlet johanson casted, you wouldn't believe someone like that would fit as a scavenger
she's a strong independant woman who dont need no man.

I really did like the movie but I'm not the only one that feels like they made the chick too perfect she was better then everyone at everything with little training
heck yeah, i completely agree. there's a lot of unanswered questions and things that can be expanded on, so i'm really excited to see how that goes. i think that the darker moments in star wars work very well, tbh, so i'm excited that rian johnson is directing it.
