finally off that call. the lady was legit just shopping with me on the phone and went through like, our entire selection and asked me what fabric each product was made out of. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
when i worked at the call center obviously a bunch of sites were blocked but it was most in tune with current events 3 months of my life bc id just read news articles all the time
how would you feel/react if someone you knew popped on the screen like "hey wassap nat hyd its connor" (i'd assume i'd know who it was because it'd say You are now Chatting to Nahdia!)
i mean sometimes the people are really annoyingly stupid and you wish you could jsut speak to them bc u feel like if u were talking u could explain it better. and other times people are SUPER impatient cause im in like, 3 chats at once and people are like "WHY HAVEN'T U RESPONDED IT'S BEEN 1 MINUTE" while im typing a wall of text to another customer who has been waiting for twice as long. that stuff is annoying.

i mean yeah it happens. sometimes it's even friendly people who just, have their caps key on for some reason. but it's much better than getting yelled at one the phones.

You do, all the time. Online anonymity makes it much worse than if they were talking to you in person (people act that way in person too)

my favorite part of customer service is the "Live Chat Instant Service!" where i get to talk to people just like i would on skype except i gotta use full syntax/grammar and the conversations are all about requesting return labels and asking when we're gonna have the capris back in stock.
i honestly think live chat instant service is an amazing service and i bet that even the ppl working them enjoy it far more than any other kind of customer service position
i wish i could do just that. during the peak season there are people whose only job is to do the chats and i'm sooooooooooo jealous. i have to be a floor lead during that time bc people are somehow dumber than i am.
