About editing roles, I don't think that works. At least it doesn't for me and roles I've created. I think you'll have to create a new role and delete the old one.

I noticed you asked how to edit the description in your forum post... Just double click the text on the account that made the post and viola, its editable. Kudos on the good idea for a new role!
