The Awesomes default weaponry in the actual BattleTech canon is 3 PPCs and a small laser. A refit produced after reintroduction of double heat sinks to the Inner Sphere arsenal saw it increase its PPC count to four. An earlier, more complete refit by House Marik replaced the engine with an XL variant, increasing its speed, altered the PPCs to ER versions, and added additional support weaponry.
