it really is wasted if you vote for someone who's going to win anyway whereas voting 3p gives them a higher platform in future elections

Maybe the people who have selected Trump or Clinton on the poll legitimately support and agree with their candidate of choice. Otherwise, wasted vote fallacy.

I'm interested in seeing some of the people from the polls step forward and say why they're voting for the candidate of their choice, though.

its interesting that even a small community of kids on the internet follow the same voting pattern of a bunch of fossils and when given not one but two third parties that align more with their interests, the two worst candidates in us history are still ahead

Also what's everyone expecting for the deb8s? All the moderators are registered democrats and some of them have made donations to the Clinton foundation in the past.

As long as Trump doesn't get b8ed into throwing a tantrum he can secure a win imo. If Clinton gets confronted about her scandals again there is no way for her to dodge them this time (inb4 "conspiracies")

Needless to say the MSM will claim she beat him, brave womyn beats evil natsci , etc.

Virginia is going to Clinton as it has been trending more democratic over the years due to the increase of Latino voters in the north. I'm confident that Trump can win Ohio as well as Nevada and he pretty much has Iowa in the bag, but I really really doubt he wins PA too, but I agree that if Trump wins Penn it's gg

There have also been some recent September polls that show Trump up by 4-5 in Colorado and New Mexico. Maybe the dudeweedlmaos are upset with how Sanders got screwed over and the legal hispanics are sick of illegal immigrants (don't tell Johnson)

It's a little more complex than that. In America the colors have had independent meanings from the parties and just corresponded to ideologies. You are right that the party colors were more-or-less solidified around 2000, though.
