Hello people of Sandbox and the spectators from Main.

In this thread we will debate whether or not Sandbox reports should be handled by site mods once again or if bebop and his mod team should have full control over Sandbox reports and Sandbox rules.

and i explained exactly why i did that when it happened. there's no recent case of it or reason to bring it up now.

If bebop handled this report, from what he told me, he would no vio it since it was not directed towards anyone.

Yeah, I think what ballsy is trying to say is that if there's inconsistencies within the sandbox mod team, every person moderates more on their own discretion and less of what the rules actually state, besides, in sandbox they are treated like general guidelines and aren't enforced word for word.

I feel there's no real harm in letting site mods back into sandbox, besides, there's 3 sandbox users on the site mod team. If we're going to have that much interaction with main lobby I don't see why we have to split the line so finely.

Also I've seen Arcbell handle quite a few sandbox reports, if you guys are firm on sandexit I request one of you remind him politely to stop it.


i've already talked to arcbell about it. if you see a report that hasn't been handled by a sandbox mod then just talk to one of us and we'll fix it.

If you look here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/78356 you can see that not much happens anymore. That's because most of the reports are being handled by the Sandbox Mods that are already Site mods. Sandbox mods being part of site mods makes Sandbox mods pretty much useless.


mod thread is for unreported incidents, it was created so that people could see the actions of lobby mods for better transparency. site modding has its own mod action thing. But based on that thread either incidents are being reported frequently and can therefore be handled through the report system, or not much has been going on for unreported incidents. I don't really think this is correlated at all.

its almost as if someone who is butt buddies with the site admins is immune to the rulings of peons

I had a chat with bebop about when Harrold said the N word. He said it was fine since he was just saying what the people were trying to spell out and that it wasn't directed towards anyone.


So by this logic I am allowed to say the N word if others are trying to spell it out and if its not directed at someone
