over 8 years

Chris deleted his thread and said I could remake it if I spell all the words in the title correctly.

Discuss the presidential election, candidates, stances, and issues here. Also anything else you can think of. I'll be moderating the debate and keeping minors/foreigners from mucking up the discussion. Also if anyone gets too rowdy then I'll put them in temporary timeout.

Debates:

Monday, September 26, 2016

Tuesday, October 4, 2016 (Vice Presidential debate)

Sunday, October 9, 2016

@current debate question
Obamacare is not good. There is absolutely no reason to force people to buy insurance. If the plan was actually carried out with the intention that was publicized(helping people who couldn't afford it get it such as young pregnant couples and senior citizens) it could be very beneficial. But when they tacked on forcing everyone to get health insurance they revealed it was all a nice gesture followed by a swift kick in the a$$.

For one, health insurance is not even necessary for many people, myself included. There is no reason I should have to pay minimum 1200 dollars a year so I can get a $50 yearly visit for free. "Oh but you don't know if something happens the insurance could come in handy" That is a risk I am willing to take and my decision to make.

Edit: For those of you don't know, you are know punished a fine come tax season if you don't have health insurance

Gotta respect Tim Kaine's view on Religion, it's part of his life but it needs to be kept out of the government

Mike Pence- my religion is the highway

Man Republican's love the constitution but hate that separation of church and state thing

Mike Pence is the most anti guy dude ever and sucked at being governor of Indiana

Tim Kaine stepped down as DNC chair so DWS could take over and now he's the VP candidate, also I disagree with his fiscal policies

Wow this sucks lol

Reminder that HRC wants to assassinate Assange for exposing her corruption. She's a warmongering psychopath parading as a nice old grandma. Make the right choice, my American fanbuddies.

>The lights at the back of the stage light up, a silhouette can be seen, God Save the Queen begins to play.
>The figure makes his way to the podiums, it's Nigel fĂșcking Farage dressed in the full British Grenadier uniform.
>He says good morning to the audience even though it's the evening
>He turns to Hillary and says.
>"You seem to have a loathing for the very idea of the USA, perhaps that is because you come from Illinois which is pretty much a non-state."
>Hillary's medical records drop from the sky en masse like the Hogwarts letters from Harry Potter.
>The Shillary shills in the audience start booing and hissing
>"Even for NBC this audience is pretty left wing" says Nigel
>The entire audience is replaced with the ghosts of the founding fathers along with many great Republican Presidents
>Ronald Reagan is at the front of the crowd and gives Nigel a thumbs up, Nigel gives him a cheeky wink in response.
>A giant bald eagle soars over the stadium with red white and blue smoke spewing out of its anus
>Does the eagle represent the USA or the UK? It's hard to tell at this moment, one could say that right now they are one and the same.
>Spears of flame begin to spew from Nigel's feet as he soars off into the night like Iron Man.
>November 11th 2016
>Trump still only gets 35%

>The second debate begins
>Trump is clearly doing better, goes for the throat by implying that Hillary is not fit to be President and demands she release medical records.
>Hillary lashes back with some banter about Trump's sniffing in the last debate, her writers prepared for this. She says Trump is more concerned with her personal health than the health of the American people to a cheering crowd.
>Trump stumbles over his words, the room is shocked, did Trump just lose his composure?
>Hillary looks to the audience and says "He wants to be a tough guy, but he's got less energy tonight."
>Trump, on the verge of defeat weakly pushes a button on his podium and says "activate protocol damp rag"

Back to the current president, what is the general consensus about Obama handing over the internet to UCANN in a few hours?

If I understand correctly, this means that backwards countries like Saudi-Arabia and China now have a say in which websites are accessible and what can and what cannot be discussed on the internet?

The fact that companies like google and facebook are defending this bill irks me as well, seems like a one-way trip to more spying and censorship.
