Obama's white ancestry was heavily downplayed during his campaign and presidency. Similarly (but I think for different reasons) Bill Clinton is being downplayed in Hillary's campaign.

I wasn't saying it as if I was surprised, I'm fully aware how politicians work.

I just find it silly when people point out how one candidate is doing it and then they rally behind the other candidate doing the same thing.
